Juicing To Help With Weight Loss

Juicing To Help With Weight LossIf you’re juicing to help with weight loss, I applaud you.

In my experience, one of the main reasons that people get into juicing is so that they can lose weight.

Fortunately, juicing for weight loss works.

However, you need to know what you’re doing. If you don’t understand how juicing works, then you may find it difficult to lose weight.

The secret lies in the natural sugar.

Fruit juice tends to be high in natural sugar, because it’s, well, fruit. While fruit tastes great and delights the tongue, it’s not the best thing when it comes to weight loss.

Yes, fruit is healthy. Yes, you should probably consume fruit on a regular basis. But if weight loss is your primary goal, then forget about fruit for a few weeks.

Fruit is sugary and this means that fruit contains a bunch of calories. These calories will hinder your chances of losing weight.

As you can imagine, this applies when juicing. Fresh juice tastes delightful. When you mix grapes, berries, apple and pear, you end up with a heavenly mixture. But sadly, this mixture won’t help you in your weight loss goals.

Move over fruits. Drink vegetables.

Vegetables are low in calories.

Once you get used to them, they even taste great. However, while vegetables taste great, they’re not sweet. If you’re addicted to sugar, vegetables won’t satisfy that addiction.

Your only choice is to starve the addiction. Starve it with vegetables.

When it comes to juicing to help with weight loss, you want to focus on vegetables. If possible, you want to exclude fruit entirely, at least for the weight loss period. Suppose you decide to go on a diet for a few weeks. Decide not to consume fruit for those few weeks also. Just drink vegetable juice. Use fruit sparingly if necessary.

I’m a pretty slim dude and even I focus on vegetables. This is because the benefits of juicing tend to be higher with vegetables. If fruit is good for the body, vegetables are great for the body.

Are you with me?

Drink vegetable juice. That’s as simple is juicing to help with weight loss is.

Will it work?

Absolutely.

However, juicing vegetables is only part of the solution. Often, weight loss is determined by what you’re not eating, not what you’re eating. If you consume heavy carbs while drinking vegetable juice, you’re not going to get anywhere.

So during your juice diet, drink juice and stick with vegetables. For the rest of your diet, eat light and eat healthy. Avoid processed foods. Eat veggies and protein. SMALL amounts of carbs are ok.
