Liver Cleanse Diet

Almost everyone has heard of the liver cleanse diet.

Given the addiction to health, almost everyone wants to get in on the action.

Who wouldn’t?

I mean, with all the nasty toxins inside, it makes sense to do a natural liver cleanse to clean them out, right? Do you want to leave all sorts of toxins and yucky stuff in your body?

Your liver is responsible for cleaning your blood. A bad liver means bad blood. Bad blood means low energy and all sorts of health problems. If you’re serious about being healthy, then a healthy liver is a must.

Given all of these things, a liver cleanse must be the perfect solution, right?

Unfortunately, that’s not the case.

There is no conclusive evidence that liver cleanse diets have any beneficial effect whatsoever.

While scientists admit that as a general rule, a liver cleanse diet is harmless, they question the value of the diet. If it has no beneficial effects, why put yourself through a liver cleanse diet? I mean, they’re not the most enjoyable things in the world. In some cases, detox diets can be downright harmful, especially if they lead to nutritional deficiency or cause a person to avoid proper treatment.

While I wholeheartedly believe in the healing power of juicing, I have no desire to do something that doesn’t work.

The health benefits of juicing are amazing because juicing allows you to consume a whole range of fresh, raw fruits and vegetables. It’s hard to get something better than that. But I also know that there are no “magic” tricks when it comes to health. Juicing works, but it’s not magic. And it works best if you make it a regular part of your life. It’s not something you do for a week and then stop. It’s about increasing your overall consumption of fruits and vegetables for the rest of your life.

Anyway, let’s get back to the topic. They’re pointless, but let’s have a closer look at liver cleanse detox diets anyway.

What Is A Liver Cleanse Diet?

A liver cleanse diet is a diet that is meant to cleanse the liver. They come in a variety of forms, from a simple fast, to going all the way with epsom salts and olive oil.

The most typical natural liver cleanse recipe is:

  • epsom salts
  • olive oil
  • fresh grapefruit
  • fresh apples
  • fresh lemons
  • ornithine capsules

A natural liver cleanse diet lasts over a weekend.

The benefits (supposedly) include everything related to the liver. Your energy increases, your immune is boosted and your health jumps up.

Liver Cleansing Diet Menu

Rather than do a natural liver cleanse, it’s better to eat a natural liver cleanse diet. Forget about detoxes and weird health solutions. Instead, focus on permanently changing your diet. That is the true path to permanent change.

Most fruits and vegetables are wonderful foods that cleanse the liver.

Beetroot, turmeric and broccoli are all fantastic liver cleansing foods. Aim to include fresh fruits and vegetables with every meal. You will improve your life in ways that will blow you away. Grapefruit is another fruit that is great for the liver. I also like garlic and tomato.

The overall lesson is to consume more fresh fruits and vegetables. Consume lots and get lots of variety. That’s the secret, if you can call it that.

Don’t do this.

Eat a healthy diet instead. Use juicing to increase the amount of fresh fruits and vegetables you consume.
