Drink Carrot Juice and Live Forever (Almost!)

Carrot juice recipes are one of the best ways to get started juicing. They’re simple, sweet and easy to make. They’ll get you hooked on juicing, at which point you can move to more advanced juicing recipes.

Carrot and Orange Twist

You can expect to feel great after these carrot juice recipes.

Is this recipe special? Well, not really but carrots are! Carrot juice is frequently called “miracle juice” by people all around the world. Many people find that it greatly improves their health. The benefits of carrot juice are fantastic.

Put simply, carrot juice is a goldmine of nutrients. It is one of the richest sources of Vitamin A that you can use in your daily diet. It’s packed with loads of other vitamins and minerals too, including iron, sodium, potassium, calcium and copper.

Carrots are fairly sweet by themselves, so you can drink them on their own, or mix them with other fruits and vegetables. The oranges sweeten this recipe up, but feel free to skip them and enjoy the carroty goodness all by itself! This is one of the famous carrot juice recipes.

Ingredients:

  • 8 large carrots
  • 2 large oranges

Step 1:

Wash the carrots and peel the oranges.

Step 2:
Put the carrots and oranges through the juicer as per usual. It should make a glass or two, depending on the size of the produce you use.

Carrot, Apple and Ginger

If you’ve been juicing for a little while, you’ve probably had some good experiences with carrot juice recipes. They’re sweet and absolutely packed with Vitamin A. The apple in this recipe sweetens it up even more. The health benefits of apples go great with carrot.

Ginger is often used in cooking for its flavor and aromatic smell, but in juicing? I assure you, it’s fantastic. It’s known to have anti-inflammatory properties, and has a wide range of benefits including aiding digestion and relieving nausea, motion-sickness, migraines and arthritis. The ginger in this juice is just enough to supplement the already great taste, and is great for your body too. As you can guess, the health benefits of ginger are wild.

Ingredients

  • 6 large carrots
  • 2 golden delicious apples
  • 1.5cm of fresh ginger

Directions
Juice the carrots, apples and ginger together. Mix well and pour into a glass. This is one of the best carrot juice recipes.

Carrot and Grapefruit

I love this carrot juice recipe, as it’s packed with nutrients; while still maintaining a fairly sweet flavor. If you didn’t know already, carrot juice has loads of benefits while grapefruit is known to be good for your skin and bones (like all citrus fruit is). The health benefits of grapefruit kick butt.

Mint is an optional garnish that will enhance the flavor. It goes great with all sorts of fruit, including grapefruit and pineapple. Feel free to use it with this recipe. It’s known to sooth the digestive tract, reduce the severity and length of stomach aches, and also thought to have anti-cancer properties.

Ingredients

  • 8 large carrots
  • 1 large grapefruit
  • 1 fresh sprig of mint (optional)

Directions

Wash and peel the carrots and grapefruit. If you’re using the mint, make sure you juice it first. It doesn’t make much juice, so you’ll get the most out of it when your juicer is clean. After that, put the carrots and grapefruit through as normal.

Now, you can pour into a glass at this point, or you can do what I do. I like to pour the juice into a blender with a large handful of ice, which is perfect for a hot summer’s day.

Mountain Air

This is one of the carrot juice recipes to use when you’ve got bad breath.

Parsley is renowned for its ability to cure bad breath. Its leaves are packed with chlorophyll, a powerful nutrient that neutralizes bad breath. Chlorophyll also acts as an excellent deodorizer.

Carrots are in the same boat and have a long history of being used to cure bad breath.

As for the apples, well, they just taste good. They sweeten it up a bit and add a nice touch.

Ingredients

  • 2 large carrots
  • 2 apples
  • 50g parsley
  • 1 handful of ice

Directions

Chop the carrots and apples. Juice the parsley first, and then put the others through.

Pour over the ice, drink and breathe the free air. Your breath probably smells amazing right now.

The Body Cleanser

When it comes to carrot juice recipes, this one is up there with the best. It has a wide variety of ingredients which are set to clean you out immediately after drinking it.

One of the advantages of carrot juice is that it’s loaded with Vitamin A, which means it cures lots of problems. Acne, dry hair or rough skin, fatigue and insomnia are just some of the things which carrot juice prevents.

When it comes to beet juice benefits, its natural ability to cool and purify the blood is always welcome. It gets your digestive system moving properly and is a potent liver cleanser.

In this cleansing cocktail you have all the ingredients you need to feel great all day.

Some juicers can’t juice wheatgrass, so either leave it out or use the powder. I’ve been stirring in a teaspoon of the powder each day and its doing wonders for my energy.

Ingredients

  • 6 carrots
  • 1 apple
  • 3 stalks of celery
  • 2 sprigs of parsley
  • 1 beet
  • a handful of wheatgrass

Directions

Juice the parsley and wheatgrass first. Then, chop the beet in half and the ends off the carrots. Juice the beet first, then the celery, apple, and finish with the carrots. I always like to do carrots at the end as they can sometimes clog the juicer and lower its efficiency.

Grab your favorite glass, pour the juice in (over some ice if you like!) and drink up!
