The Acme Juicer 6001 will go to the end of the earth.

The first thing worth mentioning here is the simple fact that the Acme Juicer 6001 is built like an absolute tank. You could run this thing over with a truck and it would still be spitting out juice for you to drink.

The internal machinery is built from sturdy commercial-quality stainless steel so durability certainly won’t be an issue here.

The warranty it comes with will cover it for 5 years, though some people claim theirs is still spinning after 30 years!

What’s the juice like?

This centrifugal juicer has got a great reputation, both when it comes to juice yield and juice quality. For those unaware, “juice yield” is the amount of juice you get from a specific amount of produce. The better the yield, the more juice you’ll get in your glass.

Juice yield is an important thing to be aware of, as it can mean the difference between a glass of juice costing $1 and $5-$10 (as much as store-bought stuff. The Acme Juicer 6001 has a fantastic juice yield, with some independent reviews claiming it produces 20% more juice than its rivals.

And with a powerful 500-watt vibration-free induction motor, it’ll power through anything and everything when it comes to fruits and vegetables, spinning out some absolutely beautiful juice that has the benefits of juicing.

How does the Acme Juicer work?

Unfortunately, this juicer does not automatically get the pulp out. You have to use filter sheets when you juice. Though this isn’t generally a problem, if you want to juice a lot in one go, you’re going to be changing filters regularly. If you don’t, it’s just going to get clogged and you’ll lose the quality of the juice.

Are there any downsides?

No, not for the most part.

However, the Acme 6001 is somewhat noisy (though not as much as the Breville Juice Fountain Elite Juicer) and a hassle to clean.

So why should I buy it?

If you’re looking for a juicer that will be with you till the end, then the Acme Juicer 6001 is an excellent choice. Many people have spoken about how they bought their machine 15, 20 and even 30 years ago, and it’s still going strong.

One lady mentions a time when she packed it away without cleaning it (by accident of course!). The juicer spent a lot of time in the dark and inevitably grew moldy and disgusting. However this lady was pleased to say that she cleaned it in 30 minutes with water and bleach and the tough little thing looked like new!
